Indian Marble Inlay Table Tops / wall panels / floor medallions

Marble inlay tabletops are made by using various colour natrural stones that includes marble, dimensional stones and semiprecious stones.Usually these tabletops are made on limestone / marble base. We also make granite tabletops.

We use three popular techniques to make these extraordinary looking tabletops / inlaid wall panels / marble inlay floor medalions . These are Water jet, handwork inlay and overlay.

In waterjet technique; all parts of design are cut using waterjet and then assembled to form the required motif. the choice of color is very minimal in this case, as not all stones are avilable in standard size and thickness. Also intricate designs are not possible because of cutting limitation on waterjet machine.

In handwork inlay process, the parts of designs (usually referred as jewellery) are cut manually on 5- 6 mm thick stones. Artisans then engrave the design on marble / limestone base. All parts are carefully assembled and glued on engraved area. on final process, it's polished to make uniform and glossy surface.

in overlay process, the making of tabletop or floor medallion is very similar to handwork inlay method, except at one poiint. Inspite of engraving the parts of designs are assebled and glued on the plain surface. thus it's known as overlaid.
